Harvard University is globally renowned for its spirit of innovation and
entrepreneurship. It has nurtured numerous outstanding entrepreneurs and investment leaders who have not only driven technological breakthroughs into global markets but also continuously influenced and shaped the global innovation ecosystem.
Carrying forward Harvard’s deep-rooted tradition of innovation, the China Innovation and Investment Conference (CIIC) was founded on the Harvard campus in 2021.
Since its inception, CIIC has been committed to building a high-level international dialogue platform that brings together the world’s leading innovators and investors to explore the frontiers of technology and the future of business.
Each year, the conference focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship in high-impact fields such as biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and climate solutions, while promoting global collaboration and sustainable innovation.
Over the years, CIIC has rapidly grown, with its annual summits, competitions, and related events inviting over 200 distinguished guests and attracting more than 5,000 participants, leading to numerous international collaborations and industry breakthroughs.
In 2025, under the theme “Venturing Beyond the Unknowns”, CIIC will continue to focus on cutting-edge sectors such as AI, biotech, climate tech, fintech, the creator/content economy, and global business expansion.
The summit will take place in London (March), Shanghai (August), Dubai (September), and Harvard (October)—guiding global innovators and entrepreneurs to stay ahead in the next
wave of technological transformation.

THEMES
The world today is undergoing profound transformation: technological revolutions and economic transitions are deeply intertwined, with uncertainty and new opportunities coexisting.
Against this backdrop, we have chosen “Venturing Beyond the Unknowns” as the theme for the 2025 Summit, aiming to explore the future trajectory of global high-tech industries and capital markets, and to support efforts in addressing challenges and seizing emerging opportunities.
We believe that the innovation potential hidden within times of upheaval is an inexhaustible driving force for societal and economic progress.
With a broader global perspective, we seek to focus on the core issues shaping today’s economic, technological, and societal transformations.
Together with thought leaders from across the global innovation landscape, we aim to chart the course for the future and advance a more sustainable global innovation ecosystem.
